Searching for chromosomal diseases in Genatlas

To search for a chromosomal rearrangement, you may want Chose your search system.
To retrieve the genes located within the rearrangement, select the GENE database. To retrieve the associated phenotypes, select the PHENOTYPE database.

Chromosomal rearrangements mut be typed using the following nomenclature: DEL for deletion, DUP for partial trisomy, TRI for full trisomy, followed by the chromosome number, the arm symbol, and an indication of the location (such as D=distal, P=proximal, or band number). e.g. the 9q34 subtelomeric deletion should be typed in as "DEL9Q34". The Full text search box may also be used to search a chromosomal disease by its name, such as Williams or DiGeorge.
